Care
Cleaning: Periodically clean the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh solvents or abrasives.
Threads & O-rings: Clean and lightly apply silicone grease to the threaded joints and O-rings every few months to ensure smooth operation and maintain water resistance. Replace damaged O-rings immediately.
Lens: Clean the glass lens with a microfiber cloth to avoid scratches. Do not use paper towels.

This is such an excellent choice for a flashlight that is compact, lightweight and extremely bright. Several modes for all situations. I work in the construction industry and this flashlight has taken beatings a nccfd continues to work the Dane as day one. Love it.

Flashing mode for defense is great
It does get very warm after 2min or so enough to make it uncomfortable but can still hold the very end of it. It does cool off quick after turning off turbo mode

This is bright, very bright and as to be expected in a small flashlight it gets hot quick, really quick. In 75 degree surrounding ambient temp this was too hot to handle in turbo mode by the 1 minute 30 second mark. And it was stepping down, I would say roughly in 1 minute 30 seconds it had stepped down about 1000 lumens to approximately 3200 – 3500 lumens. That is not bad for a light of this small physical size. In turbo and high this will step down to 1200 lumens (by Imalent manual). Note: all the lumens measurements I mentioned are just my best guess, I did not have equipment to measure the light output. Real world observations remember? Take with a grain of salt.

I am enjoying the BL70, it is super bright on 6000 with a good range and very useful at 10lm and between also. i find the size really convenient for my pocket and recommend using the lock function as it turns on easily. Power to size ratio is fantastic.
